Small farms separated by sunken pathways and impassable hedges have long been the cradle of family agriculture in the Domfront region. The chestnut color is beautiful and quite appealing. The nose releases tightly structured, close-knit notes of pear, apples, and wax after aeration; after additional aeration, the aroma grows into a full-fledged brandy, with scents of resin, baked apple and vinyl gaining command; an intriguing perfume. The palate entrance is a study in controlled sweetness, with baked apple, delicious pastry, pipe tobacco, fresh honey, and oak presenting a more generous face in the midpalate phase. Ends crisp, slightly acidic, and with baked fruit, nut and nougat flavors.
