Mountain Goat Beers made more than their fair share of them over the previous 25 years: organic, double, triple, east-coast, west-coast, botanical, and barrel-aged. They took inspiration from their Steam Ale for this IPA and fermented it at a cooler temperature than usual for a beautiful clean yeast profile, enabling the hops to show. The appearance is clearer than a West Coast and the finish is dry, making it very sessionable.
