This Absinthe Liqueur is made using a classic recipe from France, around 1855. This process macerates herbs before distilling them, bringing out the truer colours of the botanicals. Their absinthe started losing its bright colour when exposed to light, indicating that there are no additives or colouring, just the natural colour of the botanicals. The conventional way is to pour 20mL into a glass, then place a sugar cube on an Absinthe spoon above the liqueur before pouring 100mL of cold water over the sugar.
