Fortaleza Reposado Tequila Winter Blend 2019 is a lovely double-distilled tequila on French oak that uses bourbon-flavored barrels, earning it the title of Tales of the Cocktail Foundation's "Best New Spirit." This tequila has a bright pale gold color. There are notes of chocolate, oak, black pepper, and cinnamon on the nose. On the palate, chocolate notes dominate, with a toffee-like finish.
