The Drouin family has been producing high-quality Calvados in the Pays d'Auge region for three generations, aiming to capture the full richness of the Normand cider apple varietals. Guillaume Drouin, CEO of Calvados Christian Drouin, is the third generation of a family that has long been interested in the quest for the right balance of distinct smells and flavors. This brandy is made from Pays d'Auge apples which were distilled in 1995 and stored for 19 years in red oak barrels. It stands out since it was matured and finished for a year in ex-Port barrels. This final stage gives it an amber color with copper reflections, a well-balanced scent, and a deliciously rich taste.
