Flying Dutchman No.3 Triple cask Dark Rum 700ml

The Flying Dutchman rum is really the first rum ever filtered on mainland Europe, and it complements the incredible variety of products available from this family distiller. The fermentation process for Zuidam distillery's Flying Dutchman 3yo Rum begins with very small batches. The fruity character of these rums is enhanced by the use of two different yeast strains and controlled low-temperature fermentation. It takes at least two weeks for the fermentation to complete. Heavenly sweet on the nose¢¬€š¬Ã…€œ gloomy cherry, vanilla, and hints of coconut, somewhat like a fine Dutch candy. On the palate, there's a hint of chocolate and dark fruit, as well as a delicious, round character. It concludes with a light eucalyptus flavor.
