Medos Honey Vodka 700ml

The recipe comes from south east Poland, where honey liqueurs date back to the 1500s. Despite its ancient pedigree, Medos's popularity has not faded in Poland, where it commands more than 10 percent of the liqueur market, according to a 1996 poll by the trade journal Rynki Alkoholowe. A rich honeyed flavour with a spicy edge is derived from natural honey harvested from wild bees in forest areas. While most often served hot, medos makes a wonderful accompaniment to a variety of desserts and cakes. In warmer weather, you can enjoy Medos on the rocks. The color is very pale straw/gold. It reveals hints of maple syrup and honey in dilution. There are also hints of citrus peel. On the palate, the wine features notes of honey and vanilla in a combination with a warm spirit. Finished with a clean, drier, and slightly spicy taste.
